Called Ipe in Brazil, Tajibo in Bolivia and Lapacho in Paraguay, this wood shows some regional difference in color variation. ELEMENTAL hardwoods only sources Ipe flooring from the western Amazon due to somewhat better brown color uniformity compared to Ipe generally from the lower Amazon region.
